Hunter Confronts Man Who Killed His Dogs

Back on 22 December 2017 in Perry County, Ohio, John Barr shot two hunting dogs belonging to Chad Crane. Mr. Crane recently posted pictures of his dogs and a video of the confrontation to Facebook.

December 22, 2017, John Barr shot 2 of my coyote hounds.
Ghost, a 3.5 year old female and one of the best coyote dogs that most people have seen.
I raised her from the day she was born. She never took one step, made one bark, or ran one track the myself and Travis Goode did not hear or see!
Frack, a 7 month old female that had just started to see the world. She knew she wanted to run coyotes and was starting to do very well for herself.
John Barr has been indicted on 2 felony counts of cruelty to animals and multiple misdemeanors.
His arraignment trial is set for Thursday February 8 at 2pm on the third floor of the Perry County Courthouse. The trial is open to the public.

It appears that Mr. Cranes dogs were trespassing on Mr. Barr’s land, and he took matters into his own hands. Mr. Crane apparently broke Mr. Barr’s gun and video taped the conversation.

In the video it appears that Mr. Barr’s face is bleeding. Neither the video or the post indicates that there was any physical altercation between the two men, but I would not be surprised if that happened.
